Bitcoin learning guide
By Crypto Dispensers · Updated October 15, 2026

A payment can be approved before the Bitcoin purchase is complete, and a completed purchase can precede wallet delivery. Check the status of each stage instead of treating the first confirmation screen as the finish line.
There is no single delivery time for every payment method and account. For Crypto Dispensers, wire purchases usually process within 1–2 days, while ACH settlement can take up to five business days. Required checks can add time, and Bitcoin network confirmations are a separate step. Card timing depends on the provider, issuer approval and purchase review.
If you need Bitcoin by a particular date, ask about your purchase before funding it. None of these estimates guarantees a deadline.
A card authorization or bank debit records a payment step. Funds may still need to clear or reach the recipient.
The order confirms what Bitcoin was bought. Check whether it is an account balance or a delivery order.
A provider may still apply a withdrawal hold. An external wallet also has its own transaction and confirmation status.
These stages are conceptual, not a time scale. The exact order and release conditions depend on the service you choose.
Confirm the provider accepts your card and account.
Issuer approval is a payment decision, not proof of Bitcoin delivery.
Wait for required reviews and the provider’s delivery status.
Connect an eligible U.S. bank account in your name.
Our ACH settlement can take up to five business days. Required checks must also finish.
Use the purchase status and receiving wallet to confirm the next stage.
Complete the required account and funding checks. Get the instructions issued for this purchase.
Use its domestic wire service, match every instruction and keep the receipt.
After funds arrive and required reviews finish, review the quote, costs and Bitcoin amount.
Verify your receiving address before approval, then follow the transaction and wallet status.
| Method | Planning information | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Card | Follow the current checkout estimate and required reviews. | An authorization does not prove BTC arrival. |
| ACH | Up to five business days for our ACH settlement, plus required checks and delivery. | A bank debit does not prove settlement or release. |
| Wire | Our purchases usually process within 1–2 days; reviews and bank schedules can extend this. | A sent wire does not lock the BTC price or confirm wallet delivery. |
Card purchases first need an eligible provider and issuer approval. Additional verification, a declined payment or transaction review can affect the order. Read the current checkout estimate and keep its reference.
Credit-card issuers may also treat the payment as a cash advance, with separate fees and interest. Check the cost as well as timing before authorizing. If a payment is declined or pending, check its status before retrying so you do not create an unintended second order.
Our ACH purchase requires the bank funds to settle and required checks to finish before Bitcoin is released. Settlement can take up to five business days. The debit shown at your bank is not enough to establish that every step is complete.
For a pending purchase, sign in and check the order status. Ask support about the existing order before arranging another payment. Read about purchase and withdrawal holds if you can see a balance but cannot move it.
Start a request and complete verification before sending. Use the bank instructions issued for that request. Your bank’s cutoff, weekends, holidays, funding review and any additional documents can affect the timeline.
After funds arrive and required checks finish, you review and approve the final Bitcoin price. Sending the wire does not fix that price in advance. Our team then completes the purchase and sends Bitcoin to the confirmed wallet.
Prepare a wire from an online bank or trace a bank wire you already sent.
We accept wire purchase requests of any amount, with no minimum or maximum. Your bank’s sending limits and required verification still apply. Tell us your amount and timing needs so we can explain the steps before you send funds.
First confirm whether the purchase delivers to your wallet or credits a provider account that needs a later withdrawal. For an on-chain transfer, broadcast, inclusion in a block and the receiving service’s crediting requirements are separate events.
A transaction can appear as pending before it has confirmations. Block arrival times vary, and fees and network demand affect inclusion. A purchase reference tracks the order; a Bitcoin transaction identifier tracks a broadcast transfer. Neither should be substituted for the other.
Understand Bitcoin confirmations and check what happens after purchase.
| What you see | What to check next |
|---|---|
| Verification requested | Supply the requested documents through the official account or support channel. |
| Bank payment pending | Check your bank’s status and whether the receiving provider has confirmed funds. |
| Funds received, purchase pending | Check for a review or a final quote awaiting approval. |
| Purchase completed, no delivery record | Ask whether a withdrawal hold or delivery step remains. |
| Bitcoin broadcast, wallet pending | Check the full address, network status and the wallet’s confirmation requirements. |
Keep your order reference and contact official support. Do not pay a stranger to “unlock” a purchase or send a second wire solely because someone claims the first one disappeared.
Preparation can reduce mistakes. It cannot remove bank processing, account review or network uncertainty.
A fast payment or quote does not guarantee immediately usable Bitcoin. Check the specific purchase, release and delivery conditions before you pay.
No. The receiving bank must credit the funds, required reviews must finish and you must approve the final price before the purchase and wallet delivery.
The network continues operating, but bank schedules and provider operations can still delay the steps before broadcast.
Use our wire page, ACH page and the provider checkout for card purchases. For the network step, read Bitcoin.org’s transaction guidance. Reviewed October 15, 2026. We offer the services discussed here; timing remains conditional.
