Since 2017, Crypto Dispensers has grown from a Bitcoin ATM business into an online platform with several ways to fund a purchase. The timeline below records when those services and provider integrations began, including connections that are no longer enabled.
Crypto Dispensers began with a Bitcoin ATM at Woodfield Mall in the Chicago area.
We partnered with Green Dot Bank to develop an in store cash funding option for Crypto Dispensers customers.
We launched in store cash funding through the Green Dot partnership. Now known as Bitcoin POP, or Point of Payment, the service offers a software alternative to Bitcoin ATM hardware. Customers add cash at a participating retailer, then make a separate Bitcoin purchase through their Crypto Dispensers account.
We integrated with Sila for ACH payments during 2020 and 2021. That integration was later disabled.
We integrated with Paybis for debit card, credit card, and ACH payment options. The Paybis integration is no longer enabled on Crypto Dispensers.
We added Transak as an additional provider for debit card, credit card, and ACH payment options. The Transak integration is no longer enabled on Crypto Dispensers.
We integrated with Cybrid for wire transfers. The Cybrid integration is no longer enabled on Crypto Dispensers.
We integrated with Changelly for debit card, credit card, and ACH purchase options. Available methods, providers, and requirements are shown in the account purchase flow.
