Use the estimate well

A useful number needs context.

The calculator helps you compare scenarios. It does not predict the final checkout amount. Use the reference price, fee assumption, and satoshi result to understand the math before reviewing an actual purchase route.

01

Compare amounts.

Try several dollar or Bitcoin amounts to see how the estimate changes at the same reference price.

02

Model a fee.

Add a hypothetical percentage to understand its mathematical impact. It is not a statement of any provider's actual fee.

03

Read the sats.

One Bitcoin equals 100,000,000 satoshis. Sats make smaller Bitcoin estimates easier to compare.

Calculator FAQ

What the result does and does not mean.

Keep the estimate separate from an actual quote, purchase request, funds received, Bitcoin delivery, or settlement.

Is this a live Bitcoin purchase quote?

No. It is an illustrative conversion based on the reference price and fee assumption shown in the calculator. It does not reserve a rate or start a purchase.

Where does the reference price come from?

The calculator requests a public BTC/USD reference price from CoinGecko. You can refresh or replace that price manually. An actual checkout may use a different rate.

Does the fee field show a Crypto Dispensers fee?

No. The fee field is a hypothetical percentage chosen by you for comparison. Actual fees and network costs depend on the purchase route and the details presented before confirmation.

Does the result mean I will receive that amount of Bitcoin?

No. A calculator result is not a purchase, provider approval, funds received, fulfillment, wallet delivery, revenue, or settlement. Review the final rate and terms in the applicable purchase flow.

Ready to compare purchase routes?

Review cash, card, ACH, and wire options separately before choosing what fits.
