Bitcoin payment and delivery guide
Find out whether your bank payment was sent, received or still under review. Use the right reference for the bank, your purchase provider and the Bitcoin network.

If your wire-funded Bitcoin purchase is waiting, first ask which step is incomplete. A bank can accept a wire request before it actually sends the payment. Your purchase provider can receive dollars before the required review and price approval are complete. Bitcoin delivery is a later step.
For a Crypto Dispensers Bitcoin wire purchase, keep your purchase reference and bank confirmation together. Contact our team through your account or our official contact page when you need help matching the payment. Do not send a second wire just because the first one is not yet visible.
Two payment systems, four checkpoints
Your bank schedules, reviews and sends the wire. Ask it for the actual payment status.
We match received funds to your request and complete the required checks.
You review the final Bitcoin price, costs and quantity before the purchase is completed.
After the transfer is broadcast, a Bitcoin transaction ID helps you follow the network record.
Open the confirmation in your genuine bank account. The educational field map below shows what to look for; it is not a bank screenshot, customer receipt or proof that a payment was sent. Banks use different labels.

Save the receipt securely. Share only the details requested through a verified support channel; do not post a bank receipt or account number publicly.
| Reference | What it helps track | Where to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase reference | Your request with the Bitcoin provider | Your provider’s authenticated account or verified support |
| Bank confirmation | Your bank’s record of the wire instruction | Your sending bank |
| Fedwire IMAD / OMAD | The Fedwire payment message, when that network was used | Ask the bank to retrieve or investigate it |
| Bitcoin TXID | A broadcast Bitcoin transaction | Your wallet or a Bitcoin block explorer |
The Federal Reserve’s Fedwire guidance says successfully processed Fedwire messages contain IMAD and OMAD identifiers. Your bank can determine whether Fedwire was used and which reference applies. A retail receipt may not display these identifiers.
A bank reference cannot be searched as a Bitcoin TXID. A Bitcoin explorer also cannot show your bank payment, identity review or unapproved purchase.
Start with a precise request: “Was this wire only submitted, or was it sent? Please confirm the amount, sending date and trace reference. If it was sent, can you investigate whether the beneficiary bank received it?”
Fedwire’s guidance describes bank-to-bank investigation messages that can help confirm receipt and beneficiary credit. A trace request does not guarantee that money can be recalled or that the Bitcoin purchase has been approved.
Ask whether the wire has actually left the bank. Keep the scheduled date and bank confirmation. The Bitcoin provider cannot release a payment still waiting at your bank.
Ask the bank for the trace reference and investigation status. Give the provider your purchase reference, amount, sending date and the receipt details it requests through a verified channel.
Ask whether payment matching, account review, requested documents or final price approval is outstanding. A successful bank transfer does not complete those steps.
Use the TXID to check the transaction and confirmations. If it is confirmed but missing from an exchange balance, check that exchange’s deposit policy. Read our Bitcoin confirmations guide.
You can write: “My purchase reference is [reference]. I sent [amount] on [date] from [bank]. The bank’s current status is [status]. Please confirm whether you have matched the payment and what step remains.” Keep sensitive account details out of the first message unless the verified team requests them securely.
For a misspelled reference or funding-account mismatch, tell the team what happened. Do not guess at a correction or reuse different recipient details from an old request. Our wire instruction guide explains the fields to check before sending.
Once a transfer is broadcast, ask for its Bitcoin transaction ID. In a reputable explorer, check the destination output, amount, confirmation status and block information. Compare the complete receiving address with your own verified wallet instructions.
If the provider is still reviewing your order, an explorer has nothing to report about that review. If a purchase is shown in an exchange account but cannot yet be withdrawn, read why Bitcoin can be bought but not yet withdrawn.
A confirmed transaction to the wrong address is not fixed by tracing the earlier bank wire. Bitcoin payments generally cannot be reversed by support. The Bitcoin.org user guidance explains why checking the recipient before sending matters.
It proves the status recorded by your bank at that point. A submitted or scheduled receipt is not proof of receipt by the provider. Ask us to confirm payment matching for your purchase reference.
Use your bank’s genuine tools or contact the bank. Bitcoin block explorers track Bitcoin transactions, not bank wires. Do not give bank credentials or account details to a site offering to unlock a transfer.
No. A bank investigation addresses the bank payment. Once Bitcoin is broadcast, network conditions and the receiving service’s confirmation policy are separate.
Ask the bank and purchase provider to resolve the existing payment first. A second wire can create another payment that also needs to be matched and reviewed.
