Read your wire instructions
Understand the beneficiary, bank details and payment reference before sending a wire. Use this guide to read your instructions, then follow the verified details for your own request.

For a Crypto Dispensers Bitcoin wire purchase, start your request and complete the required review before sending funds. Wait for the bank instructions approved for that exact request. A public article, old saved recipient or screenshot from another customer is not a source of payment details.
This guide explains common fields in a domestic U.S. wire. Your bank may use different labels. If the form and your instructions do not line up, ask the bank and our team before submitting the payment.
Educational example only. Not payment instructions.
No real bank account, routing number or payment reference appears below.
[NAME FROM YOUR CURRENT INSTRUCTIONS]The receiving account holder. Copy the specified legal name; do not substitute a brand name.
[BANK NAME AND ADDRESS, IF REQUIRED]The bank receiving the payment. Use the exact institution and address supplied.
[WIRE ROUTING NUMBER]The bank identifier for this payment type. Do not assume an ACH routing number is interchangeable.
[ACCOUNT NUMBER]The destination bank account. Compare every character before submitting.
[EXACT REQUEST REFERENCE]Information used to match the payment to your request. Ask where your bank carries it to the recipient.
[ONLY IF YOUR REQUEST REQUIRES THEM]Follow any specified intermediary or further-credit details. Do not invent or omit fields.
Do not type the placeholders into a bank form. Use the actual details supplied through the approved process for your request.
Some banks use different routing numbers for wire and ACH payments. Selecting a generic “transfer” or “external account” option can start the wrong payment type. Ask your bank which option sends the domestic wire requested.
Bank of America’s wire guidance specifically tells senders to confirm the wire routing number because an incorrect number can delay or misdirect a payment. That is general banking guidance, not approval of a Bitcoin purchase or a statement of partnership.
| If the form says… | What to do |
|---|---|
| Domestic wire | Check the beneficiary, wire routing and account details against the approved instructions. |
| ACH or external bank transfer | Do not substitute it for a wire request. Confirm the correct flow before authorizing. |
| International wire or SWIFT | Stop if your request is for a domestic wire. Ask whether your location, bank and payment type are supported. |
Compare ACH and wire purchase steps if you are still choosing how to pay.
Your bank may label the field “reference,” “message to recipient,” “memo” or “additional information.” Ask which field is transmitted with the wire. A personal note visible only to you may not reach the recipient.
Copy the reference exactly as instructed. If the bank cannot fit it, removes characters or asks for a different format, get guidance before sending. Do not shorten it on your own or send a second wire to correct the first one.
Keep your request reference alongside the bank’s confirmation. These are different identifiers. If matching is delayed, our team can tell you which records are needed through a secure channel.
For help preparing an online transfer or branch visit, use our bank wire preparation guide. Only authorize the payment when you understand the displayed details.
Contact our team using the official website or your existing account, rather than a phone number supplied in the unexpected message. A familiar logo or reply in an old email thread does not prove that replacement bank details are authentic.
If you already submitted a wire with a suspected error, contact your bank immediately and then official support. Ask what action is possible at the current stage. Do not assume recall is available or guaranteed, and do not send a replacement payment until the first one is accounted for.
Compare every detail with the instructions for the new request first. An old recipient record does not establish that the bank details or reference are still valid.
No. It confirms a banking step. Funds receipt, review, final-price approval and wallet delivery are separate milestones.
Use the secure route requested in your account or by official support. Avoid posting bank documents publicly, and never share banking passwords or verification codes.
Save the bank confirmation, date, amount and request reference. Follow your account for funds receipt and the remaining purchase steps. Read what to check if a wire is delayed and when your final price is approved.
