Bank-wire preparation

Prepare a Bitcoin purchase wire from your bank.

Check the account, bank rules and current purchase instructions before you send money. Use the sections below for credit unions, online banks, savings, brokerage, joint and business accounts.

Check the account before preparing a wire.

You may be able to fund a Bitcoin purchase from a bank, credit union, online bank, savings account or brokerage account if outgoing domestic wires are supported, your bank permits the payment and the account passes the required review. A transfer button does not establish that the account supports the wire you need.

For a Crypto Dispensers purchase, start in your account, identify the funding account and wait for approved instructions. Your bank can set limits and cutoffs even though we set no minimum or maximum wire purchase amount. Georgia, Washington and New York are excluded.

Banks and credit unions.

Ask whether your account can send an outgoing domestic USD wire to the intended beneficiary. Confirm whether it must be arranged in a branch, by a secure form or through online banking. Check the wire routing field, beneficiary details, outgoing fee, daily limit, cutoff and time zone.

A same-day bank transfer estimate describes bank processing; it does not establish when a Bitcoin purchase can be approved and delivered. See the Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo reference guide for named-bank sources, and confirm your own current bank terms.

Online banks and banking apps.

Find the bank’s outgoing wire instructions, rather than assuming an ACH transfer, peer payment or linked-account transfer is a wire. Confirm new-account restrictions, available balance, limits and the secure request method. If a financial app uses a partner bank, ask which institution handles the outgoing wire and which details it requires.

Use only the bank instructions issued for your current purchase. Do not replace a missing field with an ACH routing number or instructions from a web search.

Funds held in savings.

Confirm whether that savings account can send the intended wire directly. Ask about available funds, withdrawal rules and any required move between your own accounts. If the sending account will change, tell our team before funding and have that account reviewed. Do not assume an approved savings source makes every other sending account eligible.

Funds held in a brokerage account.

Check that the cash is available for withdrawal, rather than relying on buying power or an unsettled sale balance. Ask the brokerage whether the account can send the intended domestic wire, what ownership rules apply and how long a withdrawal review can take. A market sale, settled cash and an outgoing bank wire are separate events.

Get the actual approved beneficiary and reference fields before arranging the withdrawal. Our team cannot approve a brokerage’s payment policy or bypass its account restrictions.

Joint and business accounts.

We accept joint and business funding accounts after the required verification. Tell us the account type before sending money. Confirm the account-holder names, the requester, the authorized bank signer and who controls the receiving wallet.

For a business request, be ready to explain the legal business name, relevant ownership and authority, purchase purpose and funding source. Our team will confirm the exact records and secure submission method. This is preparation guidance, not a universal required-document list.

Resolve any difference between the reviewed account and the account that will actually send the wire. Acceptance of joint or business accounts does not authorize unrelated third-party funding.

Match the current instructions field by field.

  1. Confirm the sending account is the account reviewed for this purchase.
  2. Match the complete beneficiary and receiving-bank details.
  3. Use the specified wire routing and account fields, including any intermediary or further-credit instructions.
  4. Enter the purchase reference exactly. Ask for help if your bank form has no suitable field.
  5. Check the amount, your bank’s fee and available funds before authorization.
  6. Keep the bank receipt and reference. A send confirmation does not prove receipt, purchase approval or Bitcoin delivery.

Keep funding, price approval and delivery separate.

Review current service fees and the calculator, additional quote charges and the bank fee you pay separately. Confirm the full Bitcoin amount before approving. As your transaction volume with us grows, we can review your rate and may be able to lower it; there is no fixed discount schedule or guaranteed reduction.

Estimated processing is 1–2 days, with bank schedules and required review able to extend the timing. Sending the wire does not lock your Bitcoin price. After funds arrive and review is complete, you approve the final price before purchase and wallet delivery. Read the timing guide and cancellation information before funding.

Your preparation checklist.

Use these checks to prepare; they do not authorize a payment. Your selections stay on this page and reset when it reloads.
