If you already hold paper cash and want to buy Bitcoin by wire, start with your own bank. Ask how it accepts your deposit and when the money can be used for the intended payment.

You can ask your bank about depositing your cash into your own eligible account, then arranging a bank-funded Bitcoin purchase. Your bank’s deposit requirements, available funds and outgoing-payment rules determine what you can do. Confirm the buying provider’s account and funding requirements before sending.
Crypto Dispensers offers bank and card purchases. Our ATM and retail cash-loading services have ended. Cash deposited at your own bank stays subject to that bank’s policies; our wire purchase starts with a separate request and approved instructions.
If the money is already in your bank, you can compare our wire option before withdrawing cash for a Bitcoin ATM. See costs and a $20,000 example.
Tell our team the amount you have in mind and how you plan to fund it. We can help you prepare a wire request and understand the account, bank and wallet checks.

Available to eligible U.S. customers, excluding Georgia, Nevada, New York and Washington. Account and purchase review apply. Creating an account sends no money.
Contact your bank through its official app, website or branch. Explain the amount and how you intend to use it. Ask these questions before traveling with cash:
Record the answer and keep the deposit receipt. A displayed account balance and an accepted deposit do not guarantee that an outgoing payment will be approved. Ask about the specific wire you plan to send.
The OCC’s cash-deposit guidance says cash handed to a bank employee is generally available for withdrawal by the next business day after the banking day of deposit. Other deposit methods can take longer. Check your account agreement and ask your bank when your particular funds can be used for the wire.
For a larger cash-buying decision, use our large-cash purchase preparation guide. It covers checking a cash provider, preparing a wallet and comparing payment methods.
If you plan to deposit $20,000 in cash, tell the bank the full amount and answer its questions accurately. Keep records showing where your funds came from and follow the bank’s secure submission process. Depending on your circumstances, relevant records might include withdrawal receipts, income records or documentation of a sale.
FinCEN’s customer guide explains cash-transaction reporting and the information institutions collect. It also explains that dividing transactions to evade reporting requirements is illegal. Follow the requirements for your actual deposit rather than changing amounts to avoid them.
A cash deposit receipt, wire receipt and Bitcoin delivery record describe separate steps. Keep them together with the purchase reference. Our documents guide for a larger Bitcoin purchase can help you prepare for the buying provider’s review. Provide sensitive records only through official secure channels requested by your bank or provider.
“I have [amount] in cash from [source] that I want to deposit into my account. I’m considering a domestic wire to a Bitcoin buying provider. What records do you need, when can I use the funds, and can this account send that payment?”
Our wire service has no minimum or maximum purchase amount. Bank limits, eligibility and required review apply. The Bitcoin price can change during processing. Bank transmission, review, your approval and wallet delivery affect timing.
Confirm that the bank account ownership matches the funding requirements for your request. Ask our team about joint or business accounts before funding. A bank’s acceptance of a cash deposit does not establish approval of a Crypto Dispensers purchase.

Compare the full dollars you pay and the Bitcoin delivered to the same receiving wallet. Ask whether the displayed exchange rate includes a spread and which service, bank or delivery charges are separate.
Our standard starting wire service fee is 8% of the full amount sent. On a $20,000 wire, that is a $1,600 service fee, leaving $18,400 before other applicable costs. Your bank’s outgoing wire charge is separate.
This example does not establish your final Bitcoin amount or a price lock. Rates can be reviewed as your transaction volume grows and may be lowered individually. Confirm the rate for your actual request before funding.
Review our wire costs and calculator. Include separate bank charges when setting a total spending budget.
Our current purchase methods use bank or card funding. Our former ATM and retail cash-loading services have ended. Ask your own bank about depositing cash into your eligible account before considering a separate bank-funded purchase.
Ask your bank about your actual deposit, funds availability, outgoing cutoff and intended beneficiary. Deposit acceptance alone does not establish same-day wire approval or Bitcoin delivery.
Banks have their own account, payment and review policies. Confirm the proposed payment with your own bank and confirm eligibility with the buying provider.
With our wire service, you approve the final price after funds arrive and required review is complete. Sending the wire does not lock that price.
Verify the actual machine, opening hours, accepted cash amount, remaining account allowance, verification, complete quote and receiving wallet with its operator. Our $20,000 ATM guide explains the questions to ask.
