New Jersey · Crypto ATM guide
Searching for a crypto ATM in NJ? Begin with a current operator directory, check the full New Jersey address and contact the operator before traveling. Ask whether that machine supports your purchase, what you’ll need to bring and where you can review the complete cost.
New Jersey also has a proposal to prohibit cryptocurrency ATMs. We explain the legislative record below so you can distinguish a proposed restriction from an operating-location listing.
Crypto Dispensers no longer operates ATMs or retail cash loading. If you prefer to buy online, our New Jersey buying guide explains the bank and card options eligible customers can review.

CoinFlip’s New Jersey directory lists locations by municipality. Use it to narrow your search to a place you can reasonably reach, then open the individual listing to check the host business and address.
| Your search area | Useful starting point | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Newark or Jersey City | The directory’s Newark and Jersey City listings | Exact street address, access hours and current machine availability |
| Edison or New Brunswick area | Edison, North Brunswick Township and nearby municipality listings | Whether the location is in the municipality you intended to visit |
| Trenton area | Trenton and nearby Hamilton Township listings | Host business, supported purchase and identification requirements |
| Cherry Hill or South Jersey | Cherry Hill Township and nearby South Jersey listings | New Jersey address, travel distance and operator support |
These are search starting points, not a complete list of machines or a live availability report. We link to an independent operator because readers looking to spend cash need a way to check that service directly. Crypto Dispensers sells Bitcoin online and has a commercial interest in that alternative.
Around Jersey City or Newark, a broad map search may also show New York results. Around South Jersey, it may show Pennsylvania. Read the entire address before planning a visit.
Your residence also matters when you compare online services. Use accurate residence information in your account. Crypto Dispensers does not offer purchases to New York residents; visiting New Jersey does not establish eligibility.
The official S2141 bill record describes a proposal to prohibit cryptocurrency ATMs. The record reviewed for this guide shows Senate passage on June 30, 2026, followed by referral to the Assembly Science, Innovation and Technology Committee. The bill’s June 8 committee statement explains the proposed prohibition.
Those recorded actions do not establish that the proposal has become an effective law. This status note was checked on November 2, 2026. Check the official record for later action and ask an operator about its current service before relying on an older listing.
A directory entry can help locate a business. It does not verify the business’s compliance with every applicable requirement.
Call through contact information on the operator’s official website. You can use this short question list:
Ask about access hours separately from support hours. A support team being available does not mean you can enter the host business at that time. Leave yourself time to read the offer and contact support before committing funds.
The useful comparison is the total you pay and the Bitcoin you receive. Ask how any transaction charge, purchase-rate markup or network charge is reflected in the offer.
For example, if you have a $500 budget, ask each service what that full budget would buy after its quoted costs. Keep the quotes close together because Bitcoin’s market price can move. Don’t compare one provider’s advertised fee with another provider’s complete checkout total.
For a card offer, also ask your issuer about separate charges or treatment of the purchase. For bank funding, check your bank’s charges and processing conditions. The cheapest-looking offer may have different delivery requirements, so review those alongside the cost.
If your funds are in a bank account, you can compare an online Bitcoin purchase without planning an ATM visit. Crypto Dispensers provides guided wire purchases and eligible ACH, debit-card and credit-card options, subject to account, provider and transaction checks.
For a wire, start a request before sending money. Our team can help you understand the instructions and prepare your receiving wallet. Confirm the applicable service rate and separate bank charges before funding; final price approval follows receipt of funds and required review.
If your money is physical cash, ask your own bank about its deposit process and when funds can be used for the payment method you’re considering. Crypto Dispensers does not accept cash at a local New Jersey shop or through an old retail barcode.
The New Jersey Bureau of Securities warns about fraudulent cryptocurrency investment opportunities, including pitches that grow out of online relationships. A working machine does not establish that the investment someone asked you to fund is legitimate.
Before paying, identify who controls the receiving wallet and why you’re sending money. Don’t share your wallet recovery phrase, private keys or login codes. If a new online contact promises returns or asks for another payment to release supposed profits, pause and check the situation independently.
Operator directories list New Jersey locations. Check the specific operator, address and current service before visiting, and review changes to the state’s proposed legislation. This guide does not certify machine uptime or legal compliance.
The official record reviewed for this guide shows Senate passage and Assembly referral. We have not established enactment from that record. Follow the bill link above for its latest status.
Use your actual residence. Crypto Dispensers does not offer purchases to New York residents, and a nearby machine or a trip across the state line does not change that policy.
Ask about that exact service. A listing offering cash purchases does not establish that the machine can pay out cash when you sell crypto.
We no longer operate ATMs or retail cash loading. Current eligible purchases begin online. For an older transaction, keep the receipt and contact our support center.
Create your account to see the services available to you, or read our New Jersey guide first. Opening an account sends no money and does not guarantee approval. Review the complete offer before paying; Bitcoin can lose value.
