Start with Binance.US if you are comparing U.S. options.

For a U.S. buyer, the useful comparison is Binance.US versus Coinbase’s U.S. services. Binance.US says it is separate from Binance.com, with separate accounts and supported assets. A global Binance review may describe products, funding methods or fees that do not apply to you.

Then compare the exact purchase you intend to make: the dollars you will pay, the Bitcoin you will receive, and when you can move it to your own wallet. An attractive trading fee answers only part of that question.

Compare the trading product before the percentage.

As reviewed on October 14, 2026, Binance.US’s fee schedule lists 0% maker and 0.02% taker fees for non-Tier-0 Advanced spot pairs. Its Tier 0 schedule is currently for BNB/USD, not a blanket promise of free Bitcoin trading. Rates and pair classifications can change.

For a hypothetical $1,000 executed trade at 0.02%, the trading fee alone is $0.20. That calculation does not include funding charges, the market price you obtain, or a later crypto withdrawal. A zero maker fee also does not guarantee your order will fill.

Coinbase Advanced sets fees by the account’s current tier and whether an order adds or removes liquidity. A limit order that fills immediately can pay a taker fee. Check the actual preview instead of assuming every limit order has the maker rate.

A simple Coinbase buy can include both a fee and spread in the quoted price. Advanced uses the order book and its own pricing. Compare like with like, then compare the final Bitcoin amount if your goal is an uncomplicated purchase rather than active trading.

Bank deposits and withdrawal readiness are different.

Binance.US documents a seven-day, 168-hour withdrawal hold for ACH deposits. Its guidance says newly deposited funds can be available for trading while the corresponding dollars or purchased crypto remain unavailable to withdraw. Read the release time in your account history. Review its current withdrawal-hold policy.

Its wire guide describes a separate funding method with account-specific instructions. Do not reuse old bank details or copy instructions from another person’s account. Confirm the beneficiary, reference, minimum and any fee in the current screen before sending money.

Coinbase’s North American payment-method guide lists bank options for U.S. customers. Its interface determines what your account can use. Look at any funding hold and available-to-send amount before making a purchase intended for immediate wallet delivery.

A bank’s confirmation that money was sent is not the same as an exchange approving a withdrawal. For a larger purchase, plan for bank processing, account review, the trade and the crypto transfer as separate stages. Our wire-versus-ACH guide explains the payment distinction.

Check the destination before buying.

Decide whether you want Bitcoin held on the provider’s platform or delivered to a wallet you control. If it is the second, check withdrawal eligibility before funding. A balance shown in an account is not always a balance you can send immediately.

  • Asset: Confirm you are buying native BTC, not a similarly named token.
  • Network: Match the receiving wallet’s supported Bitcoin network and instructions.
  • Amount: Check the withdrawal minimum and the amount remaining after charges.
  • Address: Verify it on your wallet’s receive screen and check it again before confirming.
  • Status: Save the transaction identifier once the platform sends the transfer.

Coinbase’s fee disclosure describes an estimated network charge for an off-platform send. Binance.US shows applicable withdrawal costs and conditions in its process. Neither a headline trading fee nor the word free tells you the full cost of receiving BTC elsewhere.

Choose around your purchase, not a universal winner.

Binance.US may fit an eligible customer who wants its spot order book and is comfortable checking regional availability and withdrawal conditions. Coinbase may fit someone who prefers its account experience and wants to choose between a simple purchase and Advanced trading. A published fee advantage alone does not settle that choice.

For a bank-wire purchase with team assistance, compare Crypto Dispensers’ white-glove wire service as another option. We have helped people access crypto since 2017. Our service page explains the funding steps and wallet delivery; our fee disclosures explain costs to review before proceeding.

If a bank wire is not the right fit, our ACH page and debit-card page explain other purchase options. Availability and timing depend on your account and the offer shown.

Common Binance and Coinbase questions.

Is Binance.US the same account as Binance.com?

No. Binance.US describes the platforms as separate entities with separate accounts. Check the official support instructions if you have assets in an older Binance.com account.

Does a 0% maker fee mean my purchase is free?

No. It describes one trading-fee category. Order execution, funding charges, the price obtained and any withdrawal cost still matter.

Can I withdraw Bitcoin as soon as I buy it?

That depends on the funding method, any holds and account review. Check withdrawal readiness before buying if wallet delivery is your priority.

Which is better for buying Bitcoin by wire?

Compare the current wire instructions, complete quote, delivery process and support available to your account. This review does not establish a universal cheapest or fastest provider.
