For a MoonPay crypto-sale bank payout, create a new sell order, choose an available bank method, review the quote and send the requested crypto using that order’s deposit instructions. MoonPay processes the eligible fiat payout after receiving and processing the deposit.
This guide covers proceeds from a crypto sell order. If you are using a separate MoonPay Balance or another MoonPay product, open its current withdrawal instructions before moving money.
Our main guide to transferring crypto to a bank account covers the full process from choosing a selling provider to receiving dollars.
Confirm the selling feature, asset and bank method offered for your account and location. Review MoonPay’s current regional support information before transferring crypto.
Open the official MoonPay app or selling flow and select the asset and amount. Complete any requested account checks and follow the available payout options.
Check the expected fiat amount, displayed fees and bank information. Confirm the destination and terms before approving the order.
MoonPay’s selling instructions require a new deposit address for each sell order. Copy the current order’s address and check the requested crypto and network. Avoid saved addresses from older orders.
Follow the active deposit instructions, including any minimum and deadline. Save the blockchain transaction ID with the MoonPay order reference.
After the crypto is received and processed, check the order’s payout status and arrival estimate. Review any action request in the official app and retain the bank-payment reference when available.
Choose the status you can verify in the official MoonPay order. Use the original order reference when following up.
We reviewed MoonPay’s crypto sell-order instructions and regional payout-method guide on November 2, 2026. The order reference is the link between the requested crypto deposit and its eventual fiat payout.
If you started the selling offer in Trust Wallet, our Trust Wallet cash-out guide helps separate the wallet transfer from the provider’s sale and payout. If you’re sending from MetaMask, follow our MetaMask-to-bank account guide for the wallet’s sending and fee checks. For a USDT sale, use our USDT network and bank-payout checklist before funding the order.
| Stage | Information to check | Record to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Quote and payout selection | Crypto amount, fiat currency, net payout, costs and eligible bank destination. | Order reference and dated quote details. |
| Deposit instructions | The active order’s address, exact asset and network, amount and deadline. | The instructions associated with this order. |
| Crypto sent | Transaction ID and the asset/network actually used. | Sending record and provider deposit status. |
| Provider processing | Any account check or updated quote that requires action. | The status update and relevant support reference. |
| Bank payout | Provider submission status, method and arrival estimate. | Payout reference and final bank receipt. |
MoonPay’s instructions require a new sell order with its own deposit address. Use official support to resolve a transfer already sent to an older address. Give the order and transaction references, and confirm its status before creating another payment.
This article follows a crypto sell order. If your funds are already in MoonPay Balance, open that product’s current withdrawal guidance. Check the actual currency, eligible destination and method shown there before using a sell-order instruction.
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| You have an old deposit address | Create a new sell order and use its instructions. If a transfer already went to an older address, contact MoonPay with the transaction details. |
| No bank payout appears | Check your location, account eligibility and the methods offered for that transaction. |
| The order is waiting for action | Review the official status and any updated quote or document request. Confirm the original order’s state before creating another sale. |
Ask the provider which stage is outstanding and what action, if any, it needs from you. Keep the blockchain ID, sale receipt and payout reference together. Our delayed crypto-to-bank transfer guide explains how to follow up without duplicating a payment.
If your crypto is in a wallet you control, our self-custody cash-out guide covers deposit checks and signing. Use official support channels and keep recovery phrases and private keys private.
Keep the active order reference, deposit instructions, crypto transaction ID, any accepted quote update and payout reference. Match support questions to that same order. For U.S. reporting questions, see the IRS digital-asset guidance and your tax professional.

Research and tools by the Crypto Dispensers team. Documentation checked November 2, 2026. We offer crypto selling services and have a commercial interest in links to our service.
We compared the linked public provider instructions and used those findings to build the decision checklist and examples. We checked the tool’s results for supported, unsupported and uncertain inputs. Our review covers public documentation; account-specific quotes and completed bank payouts were not tested. The examples are illustrative and the educational diagrams are our own.
Confirm the current offer for your account, asset, network and location before sending. Our team can receive corrections or questions about this guide. We update the relevant instructions when verified provider changes affect the process.
