What the public record says.
On November 18, 2025, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois announced that Firas Isa and Virtual Assets LLC, which did business as Crypto Dispensers, were each charged with one count of money laundering conspiracy. The announcement alleged that Isa knowingly participated in laundering proceeds from fraud and narcotics offenses.
The announcement reported that both defendants pleaded not guilty. An indictment is an accusation, not a finding of guilt. The government must prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.
