Treat each wire as a new purchase request.

If you have bought Bitcoin by wire before, you already know the broad steps. For the next purchase, confirm the current request, bank instructions, amount, fees and receiving address again. Your earlier receipt is a useful record, but it does not authorize a new transfer or preserve an old Bitcoin price.

Sign in to your existing account and follow the current wire-request process. Our team can confirm what is needed for this purchase. A previous completed purchase does not guarantee approval, identical checks or a faster completion time.

Keep the previous purchase and new request separate.

Previous purchase recordCheck for this purchase
Old bank beneficiary or saved payeeCompare with the current approved instructions before using it.
Earlier request referenceUse the reference supplied for the new purchase.
Past fee or Bitcoin priceReview today’s applicable charges and approve the final quote for this purchase.
Old wallet addressVerify a supported receiving address that you control now.
Earlier approval and TXIDKeep a separate approval record and TXID for the new purchase.

Work through this checklist each time.

The checks are a planning aid, not an approval or instruction to send funds. They stay on this page and are not saved to your account.

Recheck a saved bank payee before using it.

A bank may let you copy an earlier wire or save beneficiary details. Before you use that convenience, compare the recipient, account and routing details with the instructions for your current request. Check the reference and amount as well. Do not rely on memory, an old screenshot or an unexpected message announcing new bank details.

If anything differs, pause and verify it through your signed-in account or our official contact channel. Confirm the bank’s cutoff, available balance, sending limit and fee for the new wire. Do not send a small extra payment to test unverified instructions.

Tell us what changed since the last purchase.

01

Funding account

Tell our team if you are using another bank or a different account type. Joint, business and brokerage accounts require the applicable verification. Prior approval does not remove ownership checks.

02

Contact or identity details

Follow any requested account updates or verification steps through the official process. Ask what is required rather than assuming an older document is still sufficient.

03

Receiving wallet

Prepare the supported Bitcoin destination for this purchase. Compare the full address with the trusted receiving wallet or hardware-wallet display before approval.

A Bitcoin receiving address is public payment information. Your private key and recovery phrase are not needed by our support team. Bitcoin.org’s security guidance explains why protecting wallet access matters.

Review the new cost and price separately.

Our current wire service fee is 8% below $100,000 and 5% at $100,000 or more, deducted from the full wire amount. Your bank may charge separately, and other applicable deductions should appear in your purchase details. A previous quote does not establish the cost of the next purchase.

After funds arrive and review is complete, check the final Bitcoin price and BTC quantity before approval. The same dollar amount can buy a different quantity because prices and applicable costs can change. Use the wire cost calculator with the figures in your actual quote.

Give each purchase its own set of records.

Save the current request reference, bank receipt, final quote and approval, delivery record and Bitcoin TXID when available. A simple folder per purchase keeps one transfer from being confused with another. Label dates with the time zone if you are discussing a delay.

If a new wire appears to have the wrong amount, use the amount mismatch guide. If payment is complete but delivery is unclear, follow the funding-to-wallet guide. Avoid submitting another payment while you investigate the first.

Questions about buying again by wire.

Can I reuse my old wire instructions?

Verify them against the current instructions for the new request before sending. A previous successful transfer does not establish that every saved detail or reference is appropriate now.

Will I have to verify my identity again?

Our team may request updated information or checks for the current purchase. Requirements depend on your account and request; an earlier purchase does not guarantee an exemption.

Will the next purchase be faster?

Do not assume so. Bank timing, funds receipt, verification, review, price approval and Bitcoin delivery still apply to the new purchase.

Can I use the same wallet?

Confirm that the wallet and network are supported and that you still control the receiving destination. Follow the wallet’s current receiving instructions and verify the full address before approving delivery.

Open the current request when you are ready.

Use your existing account if you already buy with us. Review the details for the new purchase and ask our team about any change before your bank sends the wire.
