Compare the purchase and the wallet you want to use.

Crypto Dispensers is a Fidelity Crypto alternative for eligible U.S. customers who want help arranging a Bitcoin wire purchase. Fidelity Crypto uses a linked brokerage account for dollar funding and supports external crypto transfers for eligible standard accounts. Compare the purchase process, total costs and the account type before choosing.

Fidelity Crypto uses a brokerage account to fund the purchase.

Fidelity’s current account guide describes funding a linked brokerage account, then moving settled dollars into Fidelity Crypto. Bank wires are one way to fund the brokerage account. Fidelity Crypto is different from buying a Bitcoin exchange-traded product in a brokerage account. Its Crypto IRA also has separate funding and transfer rules.

For your Fidelity Crypto purchase

Fidelity’s current fee guide lists a 1% trading fee on crypto buys and sells. It explains that older trades before December 4, 2025 used a fee included in the price as a spread. For current trades, compare the disclosed trading fee and execution price, plus any external-transfer charge, rather than adding the old spread description again.

For our bank-wire purchase

Our standard starting service fee is 8% below $100,000 or 5% at $100,000 or more, applied to the whole wire. Your bank may charge separately and other quoted charges may apply. As your transaction volume with us grows, we can review your rate and may lower it individually. There is no fixed further-discount schedule or automatic reduction.

Our standard wire service rates are higher than Fidelity Crypto’s published trading fee. Compare the full purchase and assistance you need. We do not promise a lower cost.

Compare the same total dollar budget and net Bitcoin received using quotes from roughly the same time. Count each charge once if already included in the quote. We have not made comparison purchases or obtained simultaneous executable quotes.

Standard Fidelity Crypto accounts can support external transfers.

Fidelity’s withdrawal instructions describe enabling crypto transfers, adding an external address, completing security checks and reviewing transfer charges. Confirm your available amount and account-specific transfer requirements. A completed trade inside Fidelity Crypto is a different stage from receiving Bitcoin in another wallet.

A Crypto IRA has different withdrawal rules.

Fidelity says crypto cannot be transferred into or out of its Crypto IRAs. The linked brokerage IRA handles dollar funding and distributions. Our ordinary wire purchase is not a substitute for an IRA or a tax-free rollover. If your money is in a retirement account, establish the applicable account and distribution rules before moving it.

Questions about a Fidelity Crypto Bitcoin alternative.

Can I fund Fidelity Crypto directly from my bank?

Fidelity’s current guide describes using a linked brokerage account as the dollar funding account. Fund that account first, then move eligible settled dollars into Fidelity Crypto.

Can Fidelity Crypto send Bitcoin to an external wallet?

Eligible standard accounts can enable crypto transfers and follow Fidelity’s withdrawal process. Confirm account eligibility, security requirements and transfer charges. Crypto IRAs have different rules.

Is a Fidelity Bitcoin fund the same as owning Bitcoin in Fidelity Crypto?

No. Shares of a Bitcoin fund and Bitcoin held in a crypto account are different products. Compare what you own and whether it can be sent to a Bitcoin wallet.

Is Fidelity’s current trading fee still a 1% spread?

Its current guide describes a separate 1% trading fee. It says trades before December 4, 2025 used a fee included as a spread. Use current terms for a new purchase rather than counting both descriptions.

Can I speak with your team before funding?

Yes. Start your account request or request a callback. Our team can help explain preparation, approved bank instructions, the final quote and delivery. Creating an account does not send money or complete a purchase.
